日本向けに生産される牛肉には、
前回お話したフィードロットで飼育される方法以外に
グレインフェッドと呼ばれる穀物肥料で育てる方法があり
グレインフェッドは栄養価の高い穀物のえさを与えて飼育することで
臭みが少なく柔らかい肉質になります。
適度な脂肪がついた柔らかな肉に仕上がるため、
日本向けはほとんどがグレインフェッドになります。
要するに日本人向けにカスタマイズされた味ですね
